The Virginmarys è un duo rock inglese di Macclesfield, Inghilterra, formatosi nel 2006. Inizialmente un trio, hanno guadagnato notorietà con EP auto-prodotti prima di pubblicare il loro album di debutto, King of Conflict, nel 2013. L'album ha ricevuto elogi dalla critica, ottenendo il riconoscimento Editors' Choice su iTunes e una nomination come Album dell'Anno ai Classic Rock Awards, dove hanno anche vinto il premio per Miglior Artista Emergente.
Nel corso degli anni, hanno girato il mondo, aprendo concerti per artisti come Slash, Queens of the Stone Age e Shinedown. Il loro secondo album, Divides (2016), è stato prodotto da Gil Norton. Dopo aver lasciato le etichette discografiche, hanno scelto l’indipendenza, pubblicando Northern Sun Sessions (2018), The Devil Keeps Coming (2022) e il loro ultimo album, The House Beyond The Fires (2024).
La band è composta da Ally Dickaty (voce, chitarra) e Danny Dolan (batteria). Tra i membri precedenti figurano il bassista Matt Rose e il bassista turnista Ross Massey. Il loro stile musicale fonde rock, punk e alternative.
