EIGHTH STUDIO ALBUM NO SIGN OF WEAKNESS COMING THIS SUMMER
Burna Boy, GRAMMY Award-winning artist, brings a surge of afrobeats energy in his hypnotic and dizzying new single "Update," released under Spaceship/Bad Habit/Atlantic Records. This track is the first from his highly anticipated eighth studio album and what is set to be the biggest African music event of 2025, No Sign of Weakness, arriving this summer.
Produced by P2J (Beyoncé, Tems) and built around a sample of the iconic disco classic Back to Life (However Do You Want Me) by Soul II Soul with the Reggae Philharmonic Orchestra, the track bursts with anthemic energy made for the dancefloor. The pulsating beat and drums create a fiery groove, while Burna Boy’s fluid vocals radiate charisma and swagger. Alongside the instantly recognizable sample, Burna Boy delivers a party-ready hook for the 21st century and beyond. The official music video, directed by UAX, brings the poignant concept of No Sign of Weakness to life through striking vignettes where Burna Boy rises above his detractors.

Burna Boy has kicked off 2025 with a bang. In January, the multi-platinum superstar was named World Artist of the Year at the 2025 iHeart Radio Music Awards. On April 18, 2025, Burna will headline at Stade de France, the largest venue in France, marking a milestone in his career. He was also recently featured as the first cover star of Billboard France (read the cover story here).
In December 2024, he released Bundle By Bundle, which has already amassed over 21 million global streams, with its video reaching over 7 million YouTube views. Billboard praised how Bundle By Bundle captured the energy of late-night parties in his native Nigeria during the holiday season. UPROXX called it "a new musical era," while NME described it as "energetic and party-inspired." Produced by the award-winning hitmaker Telz, Bundle By Bundle will also be featured on No Sign of Weakness.

This release crowns another phenomenal year for the global superstar. TIME named him among the prestigious 100 Most Influential People of 2024, stating: "He is history in the making. Now, an entire generation of young people across the continent looks up to him." Expanding his impact, he joined forces with Coldplay on We Pray, alongside Little Simz, Elyanna, and Tini from Moon Music, which debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart. His Glastonbury performance made waves worldwide, earning a 4-star review from The Guardian, which called it "electrifying." He headlined the I Told Them... Tour across 16 cities, selling out arenas and stadiums throughout North America. The superstar received a Top African Artist nomination at the 2024 Billboard Music Awards, while his hit Higher was nominated for Best African Music Performance at the 67th Annual GRAMMY Awards.
