The wait is finally over! Global superstar The Weeknd has officially released his highly anticipated new album, Hurry Up Tomorrow. The record follows his historic achievement in 2024, becoming the first artist ever to have 27 songs surpass one billion streams each on Spotify.
Hurry Up Tomorrow marks the final chapter of his trilogy, following Dawn FM and After Hours, while also revealing a more personal side of the artist. Originally set for release on January 24, the album was postponed due to the devastating Los Angeles wildfires. In response, The Weeknd has pledged all proceeds from Take Me Back To LA to the LA Regional Food Bank to aid those affected.
The album features hit singles such as São Paulo featuring Anitta and Timeless featuring Playboi Carti, produced by Pharrell Williams. Recently, The Weeknd surpassed his own record as the most-streamed artist on Spotify, exceeding 120 million monthly listeners.
In 2025, The Weeknd will also star in Hurry Up Tomorrow, a film directed by Trey Edward Schults and inspired by the album’s music. The psychological thriller, produced by Lionsgate, is set for release on May 16, 2025.
