What is Balkan music

Balkan is type of music that is originated in the Balkan peninsula of Europe. It is the traditional folk music of Balkan. Balkan peninsula consists of 15 countries and the traditional and music of all these countries simply called as Balkan folk music. The main feature of Balkan folk music is complicated rhythm in music. The Balkan folk music originated in the period of ottoman empire.
